Connecting to body & breath to gather the strings of the mind
I came to yoga in 2013, while healing my relationship with food and my body, after years immersed in the demands of dance culture. For the first time, movement became a way to feel good and reconnect with myself, rather than serve an aesthetic goal. I completed my Yoga Teacher Training in 2015 with Banyan Gallagher and began teaching shortly after. I'm a big alignment nerd and my classes emphasize safe, thoughtful mechanics so students can explore what feels true and supportive in their own bodies.
Current Offerings
Family Stretch | Saturday 10-11am
I became a mom in spring 2025, and was so excited to be back teaching when the time was right, with caregivers at the center of my practice and my daughter strapped to my chest! ‘Move With Baby’ has evolved as my own daughter has grown, and now is called, Family Stretch. This class welcomes whole families, all ages, and draws on my work as a facilitator to invite intuitive movement and spontaneous play within the supportive structure of yoga and dance. Expect fun music, movement to open your body and get a lil’ workout in, and opportunities to connect with your family and other families in the room. Our class credo? Come as you are! It’s really all welcome.
No mats needed, but if you will be bringing an infant, it is advised to bring a muslin (we have a rug we will lay them on). You can also bring a baby carrier!
Walkers and infants will be in two different locations of the studio and there will be opportunities for everyone to play together <3 (see studio photos below).
Open & Align | Friday 11a-12p
A Hatha-based class to sync mind, body, and breath, with a heavy focus on alignment. Some classes have a vinyasa influence, as I was trained in Vinyasa, other days we move slowly and methodically through each posture. The goal is to leave feeling you’ve opened up, built strength, and had a moment to tap in. Deeply rooted in the belief that yoga is for every body, and that our bodies have different needs on a daily basis. All levels.
Straps & Blocks will be available. Limited number of mats available for rent. Please plan accordingly.
